Matta & Associes has signed a new contract of Public Works with the Council for Development and Reconstruction (CDR) to construct a grade separation at Mucharrafieh - Lebanon . The contract is worth around $8 million and the funding is provided by the World Bank |

The Works comprise the construction and completion of a divided highway of 520 m lenght approximately that crosses the Boulevard of Chatila -Kafaat by the means of a multi-span bridge, thus reliefing the current traffic congestion at that intersection.
The works include but not limited to :
- Archeological Investigation
- A divided highway presenting 2 lanes of 7m width in each direction
- Two lanes service roads of total lenght 1312 m approximately
- One viaduct 120 m lenght approximately, along the main road
- Retaining walls
- All road works such as pavement,sidewalks, curbstone, road signing and road marking
- Bridge and hand railings, metal safety barriers, street lighting installation, stormwater drainage, and landsacaping
- Demolition and/or relocation of existing utilities and traffic detours. |
